bubble skirt drawing

I am sorry for the lack of posts.  I am getting over the flu.  It really wiped me out.  I did not feel like doing anything.  I was definitely in the doldrums.  Well,  I am going to make this blue bubble skirt for my post tomorrow.

Well, I finally got something done today.  I got this silk remnant on Sunday, hoping to have it finished by Monday.  I was just a day off I suppose.  I am going to catch up this week...hopefully.

Sorry about being MIA for a few days.  I have not been feeling very well...lack of energy.  All I had in me to do today was photograph lunch...sorry.

Billboard

The Covenant School asked me to take a photo for a billboard.  My daughter got to be in it as well.  I took the photo and someone else designed it.  A ballerina from The Nashville Ballet came and talked at school today.  She did a great job with the kids.

The lunch at school was Salisbury steak but the sushi was enjoyed by Mike and me.

YUM!  I didn't know if I would finish today.  The power went out for a couple of hours tonight.

I got this picture out of a magazine.  The day was a little crazy and kind of got away from me.  I also forgot to photograph lunch today.  Too bad, because the lunch was ham, carrots, roasted potatoes, and a banana...very colorful.

Kandinsky's lunch

Today was a friends birthday and one of her favorite artists is Kandinsky.  I decided to do a piece inspired by him.  I haven't looked at his work in a long time and did this from what I remember from his work.

Lunch today was pasta!  It kind of reminds me of the art piece today...I just need to add some blue.
